I hesitate to say anything back as I am taken off guard by his suggestive comment.

I smile back but don't hint too hard at enjoying his attitude towards me. As the weeks go by, little advances are seemingly made towards me, but I quickly brush Jacob off before I find myself in a bad situation. I mean, he is really hot. But - is it worth it? No. I am better than this and I must learn to put myself in a strong situation, not taking the easy sleeping-with-your-boss way out of things. I end up completing my internship only to move to California to work for a major record label. It's crazy how life works sometimes.
